Yes, there is only one Trev52 account (obviously) but apparently different people are playing on it (two friends or two brothers; could be also a lie, of course)

Originally I wanted to help an ingame friend looking for a card and it was then that I was told that he is known as a scammer on this board.

Then, I didn't delete this thread because I want everybody to know what happened. It's certainly good to remind everyone that potential scammers are always out there (as long as you don't gift first nothing really can happen to you though).

Post In the scammer thread, they say he is canuhelpme :O Is that true?

"Trev52 (a.k.a. Brtarvis15, Squigy32, Trtarvis, King.Arhur, canuhelpme; scammer)"

This guy friended me a time ago, and he always offer me random cards for my prototype but i never traded anything to him... His behaviour looks similar and different to canuhelpme in the same time... canuhelpme always says sad stories like "I was hacked, please help me" or "I'm just restarting, I haven't any good card"

And this guy always spam trade request with random cards begging me to accept it, but he never said he was poor or anything like that...

Now I am curious to know if he is the same person :o

That guy said that he was scammed by kelvin1977 and begged that I should give some cards

Anyway I think he really has a brother but they're both scammers

Post Trev52's your friend? I hope he's being a good one, because I have an extremely poor history with him and his siblings.

In regards to lost cards, there's too many of them that disappeared between their 9+ accounts, but the last one he stole from me is Erotic Shimmering Bride. If he still doesn't know why I broke relations with him and his brothers, this is the reason why.

Ingame friend! Obviously, I don't know him (or his siblings). It seems their scams were incredibly successful, I wonder if he will ask me at some point to 'borrow' him one of my cards for catalogue.

But to be honest, if it wasn't for this board I still wouldn't have the slightest clue of what he (or they) are up to. No indication that he or they would act differently from 99% of all other accounts I friended ingame.

But anyway: if it's somebody with dozens or hundreds of positive ratings on this board, possibly with hundreds of contributions on top, I wouldn't hesitate a second to gift first but if it's somebody who I don't know I just won't gift first and there will be no chance to suffer from a scam.

Actually I lost cards earlier because I was helping out newcomers with reborn cards that I didn't use anymore. I never saw some of those cards again because these newcomers just stopped playing the game and never logged in again. Only on one occasion did another player consciously refuse to return my cards, but as I said, the few cards I lost were not part of my Coliseum team at the given time anyway.

What made you gift him your Erotic Shimmering Bride in the first place? Did he establish a trust relationship with you?

Like you, I have no trouble giving away cards to newcomers, even though chances are I'll never see them again. I assumed Trev and his siblings was like this at that time and freely gave them cards as support. However, as the forum started to have posts about their scamming, I stopped giving them cards and went up to unfriending them. I would admit it was my fault for giving them another chance, but I usually assume the better of people.

In regards to Shimmering Bride, Trev wanted to trade a Michael for her. Twice, however, when I sent back the trade request, he wouldn't respond to it. During this time, I had extremely pressing matters to attend to, leaving me with little time to check the game. Not wanting to bog him down with a trade request, I put my trust in him and gifted the card. He immediately unfriended me afterwards.
