Hello everyone,
I have always wanted to make my own card analysis thread as I have always particularly found them to be very insightful. As I particularly liked the format and presentation of the analysis of the GC Compendium, I will be analyzing new 5* cards in a manner similar to it and in honor of it. As such, I hope to present succinct objective assessments of card's stats and abilities. Of course, their characteristics are truly subjective and any feedback regarding my assessments would be appreciated.

*Notes: My assessments are based on Lv 70 FS AceR 5* stats and skills. For exact values and full skill sets, please refer to GCX.

Recommended Lv 70 Skill Set: Quick Pinch, Banish, Entrust
Recommended Types: Ace > Fast/Intelligent > Brave/Sexy > Cool > Powerful/Chaotic
Recommended Reborn Types: AceR > Sonic/Wise > Stalwart/Erotic > CoolR > Berserk/Bold
Pros: High HP and WIS, Combos with Manavita Shift, Synergy with Shiva/Puck and Silent Princess, Able to triple cast
Cons: Susceptible to alteration abilities
General Description: Introducing the Entrust ability, Luna possesses an enhancement skill that has the effects of both Sap and Bequeath. As such, she can be strategically placed in deck to aid a variety of other cards. For example, cards with Manavita Shift can be advantageously placed after her as the skill can defeat an opponent by switching their 0 MP with their HP. Also armed with Quick Pinch and Banish, she can prevent an opponent from acting and stop their upon death skills from activating. Further addressing deck placement, she can be well placed after a card with an agility resetting skill such as Shadow Self-destruct to possibly defeat another opponent in a row by preventing them from acting with Quick Pinch. In comparison to Queen Persephone, she hold higher HP, AGI, DEF and WIS. Overall, Luna is a very notable card due to introducing the Entrust ability and for having a skill set that is not chance-based.

Shadow Sap activates with a 100% proc rate and thus can allow her to easily defeat an opponent that does not have Impervious. As the physical version of Aroundight, Laevateinn also damages opponent’s MP and thus enhances her survivability against opponent’s MP reliant attack skills. With Revive, her survivability and potential to defeat multiple opponents is further enhanced. Regarding deck placement, she can do well outside of combo chains and after an agility resetting skill due to having Shadow Sap. In comparison to Luna, she holds higher ATK and MP. With Quick Strike, she can finish off a weakened opponent, use up an opponent’s Divine Shield, or bring down an opponent’s HP to one-shot range. With Reaper’s Luck, she can stop opponents upon death skills from activating and potentially buff herself in the process. With Soul Taker, she can potentially defeat an opponent she was unable to one-shot or defeat an additional opponent using the skill alone. As such, she can do well placed in or outside of combos. In comparison to her contemporaries, she holds the highest ATK and is tied for the highest AGI with Aglona. Overall, Princess Arthur is a powerful physical card for a variety of decks.

His skill difference lies in having Shadow Self-destruct however. As such, he holds a unique way to defeat an additional opponent in comparison to them. In battle, he could potentially defeat a first opponent using Gigant Smash, block a second opponent’s attack with Divine Shield to defeat them with Gigant Smash as well, and then use Shadow Self-destruct to defeat a third opponent who may have one-shot him. Cons: Susceptible to alteration abilities, Revival is chance-based
General Description: A variant of Princess Ashtoreth, Tropic of Ashtoreth is very similar to her counterpart. Also an elemental caster and similarly armed with Nova Meteor and Mind Crash, Tropic of Ashtoreth’s differences lies in having all stats higher than her and having Revival instead of Quick Pinch. As such, she has a slightly different way to secure kills. Whereas Quick Pinch can allow Princess Ashtoreth to defeat the first opponent she faces with certainty, Revival can allow Tropic of Ashtoreth to defeat secondary opponents. Although chance-based, it holds different advantages and can be more effective against certain opponents. For example, Princess Ashtoreth’s Quick Pinch could be wasted on opponents that have Impervious whereas Tropic of Ashtoreth’s Revival may not be depending on their other skills. Overall, Tropic of Ashtoreth is a strong elemental caster like her original version and is notable for providing a slightly different use.

Marine Eris
Attribute: Death

Recommended Reborn Types: AceR > Sonic/Bold > Stalwart/Erotic > CoolR/ Berserk > Wise
Pros: Has Shadow Mind Rift, High HP and ATK, OHKOs every existing card, Synergy with Ishtar and Ares, Able to triple cast
Cons: Susceptible to alteration abilities, Gigant Smash is chance-based, No definite combo synergy
General Description: The first card to have both a Mind Rift skill and Divine Shield in the same skill set, Marine Eris is notably different from her original version. Boasting all stats higher than her and being a physical caster, Marine Eris shares only the Shadow Mind Rift skill with her. Armed with Gigant Smash and Divine Shield in place of Aroundight and Revival, she is therefore more similar to cards such as Executioner Scylla and Spenta Mainyu than to Eris. As such, she has potential to defeat any opponents she faces if Gigant Smash successfully procs and can nullify an attack that could one-shot her. With Shadow Mind Rift, she can mitigate the drawback of Gigant Smash being blocked as a confused opponent can finish off themselves. In addition, it can advantageously be used to counter opponents faster than her and can allow her to preserve her Divine Shield for a second opponent. Overall, Marine Eris’ mix of offensive and defensive skills makes her a great card for general physical decks and Gigant Smash decks.

General Description: Equipped with an entirely different skill set than her original version, Coastal Ame-no-Uzume holds a more up-to-date skill set. Armed with Mind Rift, Bequeath, and Banish instead of Deft Step, Tornado, and Mind Reave, her skill set has a greater range of beneficial effects than her counterpart. Having both Mind Rift and Bequeath, she holds both a pre-battle and upon-death ability which is rare for Quest cards. Using Mind Rift, she has potential to defeat stronger opponents if it successfully procs. Using Bequeath, she can buff a following card to aid them in battle. With Banish, she can advantageously stop opponent’s upon-death abilities from activating. As such, she can be strategically placed in deck. She can be well placed after an agility reset to use her Mind Rift on a new opponent and before a card with Toxic Blast or Deadly Reflex to increase their potential of looping the skills. Overall, Coastal Ame-no-Uzume is notably stronger than her counterpart due to her skill set despite having some weaker stats.

Coupled with Sap and Ethereal Pulse, Wagnus can deal major damage to opponents as they could potentially be completely disabled and vulnerable to its full damage. Regarding deck placement, it can do well in virtually any spot due to being able completely disable an opponent and deliver major damage with an attack that is not chance based. Having Divine Shield instead of Shadow Mind Rift, she is more defensive-oriented than Eris as she can potentially survive an attack that could one-shot her. Being a Darkness attribute card, she has aura synergy to enhance all her stats in the form of Beelzebub unlike Eris who is a Death attribute card. Regarding deck placement, she can do well in virtually any spot due to her defenses in Divine Shield and Revival which can allow her to make up for defeated cards in giving her the chance to defeat multiple opponents. Overall, Paimon is a great card for elemental and Darkness decks and is notable for being one of the few elemental casters with Divine Shield.

Cons: Susceptible to alteration abilities, Nimble Jinx and Quick Strike can backfire on Deadly Reflex users
General Description: Having both first attack abilities, Hera Aesta is also particularly unique in being able to be set as a physical or elemental caster. Although boasting higher WIS than ATK, she can be set to either depending on her type as she learns both Blast Meteor and Nova Meteor. Intelligent/Wise grants her increased Nimble Jinx and Nova Meteor damage at the cost of a weaker Quick Strike. These types particularly capitalize on her naturally higher WIS than ATK. Powerful/Berserk grants her increased Quick Strike and Blast Meteor damage at the cost of lowered AGI. These types also increase the damage dealt by Quick Strike even more if the auras Bahamut or Enfeild are used. Regarding deck placement, she can be used to finish off a card with Nimble Jinx and defeat a second opponent weakened by Quick Strike or to possibly defeat an opponent outright with both first attacks and then battle a second opponent. Overall, Hera Aesta is a very unique card that grants combo potential and skill variety to a number of decks.

Sharing Kiss of Death and Shadow Self-destruct with her original, her skill difference lies in having Impervious instead of Deft Step. As such, she is better suited for combating newer cards that are armed with alteration skills such as Quick Pinch and Shadow Mind Rift. As with her original, she can be a strong card to have placed in the last deck spot due to her ability to possibly defeat any card with Kiss of Death, her defense in Impervious, and her potential to take out an opponent’s last card with Shadow Self-destruct to claim a win. Overall, Clotho of Summertide’s great strength in battle can be appropriately connected to her profile description; sweet to use and a cruelty to face.

General Description: The third card to learn the Deadly Poison skill, Thyria is similar to certain older cards such as Vayu and Valentine Zenobia in that she battles with scratch attacks and relies on poison damage to finish off opponents. As such, her major potential lies in looping Deadly Poison to defeat multiple cards and provide a lead in battle. With Ethereal Pulse, she can ensure poisoning an enemy in the event they have Impervious by removing it along with any other buffs. With Last Stand, she can potentially finish off an opponent and make an additional attempt at looping Deadly Poison. As with other Toxic Blast/Deadly Poison users, she can be well placed in the upper half of the deck to help provide a significant lead if the skill is successfully looped. Cons: Low MP, Susceptible to alteration abilities
General Description: Similar to Tenacious Hera in skill set and use, Ra is essentially a non-bordered alternative of her. Boasting the highest ATK of any non-bordered card so far, all her skills can deal significant damage to opponents. If used in conjunction with Bahamut or Enfield, her Quick Strike has great potential to defeat an opponent with it alone. Similarly, her Soul Taker also has great potential to defeat an opponent alone due to her high ATK which can be further enhanced with aura cards. Soul Taker can also allow her to ensure a kill in the event that she is defeated by a Deadly Reflex user who manages to survive her Quick Strike and counter it. In a manner similar to the Sap and Manavita Shift kill combo held by cards such as Lucifugus, Nephthys’ Crystallize and Rendburst innately combo to potentially provide an additional kill. Upon her defeat, Crystallize will activate first and render an opponent killable by any following HP damage. Rendburst will then activate next to defeat the Crystallized opponent and negate their upon death abilities in the process. As such, the lowered Rendburst damage she may inflict as a result of using Gigant Smash can be insignificant as she will still have enough MP to defeat an opponent with the combo. Post I've updated the guide with the Sanctum 5*s using information I gathered from the Japanese section before their Int version release today. I'm missing some information so the assessments are at a very early stage and will be edited later. Major credit to Subzero91 for providing information on them in the card data compilation thread.
