Perdition Keep

Aeshma
Caster Type: Physical
Rebirth Combination(s): Aeshma
Rebirth Skill: To Be Updated
Recommended Lv 60 Skill Set: To Be Updated
Recommended Lv 70 Skill Set: Quick Strike, Blood Gambit, Divine Shield
Recommended Types: Ace > Chaotic/Fast > Brave > Cool/Powerful > Sexy/Intelligent
Recommended Reborn Types: AceR > Bold/Sonic > Stalwart > CoolR/Berserk > Erotic/Wise
Pros: High ATK, Skills are not chance-based, Combos with Rendburst, Self-destruct, Last Stand, Crystalize, Soul Taker and Mind Crash, Synergy with Ishtar, Bahamut/Enfiel, Uriel, and Beelzebub
Cons: Susceptible to alteration abilities such as Mind Rift, Divine Shield is bypassed by Death skills
General Description: Armed with a skillset that will always have an effect in battle, Aeshma is both an offensive and defensive card. As he is armed with Divine Shield, the downside of resetting the ATB gauge by finishing off a card with Quick Strike and losing the first attack to an opponent’s card with higher AGI is mitigated since he will potentially be able to survive the attack. Overall, Aeshma is particularly noteworthy among the Divine Shield users as he is a combo-ender due to having Quick Strike.

Dark Emperor
Attribute: Death
Caster Type: Elemental or Physical
Rebirth Combination(s): Dark Emperor
Rebirth Skill: Toxic Blast
Recommended Lv 60 Skill Sets: Any combination of his skills that does not include Reaper’s Luck and Aroundight in the same set
Recommended Lv 70 Skill Sets: Any combination of his skills that does not include Reaper’s Luck and Aroundight in the same set
Recommended Types: Ace > Chaotic/Intelligent/Fast > Brave/Cool/Powerful/Sexy
Recommended Reborn Types: AceR > Bold/Wise/Sonic > Stalwart/CoolR/Berserk/Erotic
Pros: Variety of builds, High ATK and WIS, Synergy with Ishtar, Shiva/Puck and Muse, Immune to alteration abilities if equipped with Impervious
Cons: No definite combo potential, Revival, Veil of Deadening and Toxic Blast are chance-based, Susceptible to alteration abilities if not equipped with Impervious
General Description: Learning a variety of different skills to choose from, Dark Emperor is the most variable 5* in terms of builds and uses. Each of his potential skill sets significantly changes his potential and performance in battle, and as such, are easily left to individual preference. He can be built more offensive-oriented if equipped with Toxic Blast in order to potentially loop it. Conversely, he can built defensive-oriented if equipped with Impervious and/or Veil of Deadening. Similarly, equipping him with Reaper’s Luck makes him a physical attacker while Aroundight makes him an elemental attacker. Overall, Dark Emperor is an especially unique card due to his build variability.

Merihim
Attribute: Poison
Caster Type: Elemental
Rebirth Combination(s): Merihim
Rebirth Skill: Manavita Shift
Recommended Lv 60 Skill Set: Divine Shield, Haste, Aroundight
Recommended Lv 70 Skill Set: Divine Shield, Aroundight, Manavita Shift
Recommended Types: Ace > Intelligent/Fast > Brave > Cool > Powerful/Chaotic/Sexy
Recommended Reborn Types: AceR > Wise/Sonic > Stalwart > CoolR > Berserk/Bold/Erotic
Pros: High HP and WIS, Synergy with Belphegor and Shiva/Puck, Able to triple cast
Cons: Susceptible to alteration skills such as Sap, Divine Shield is bypassed by Death skills, May actually buff an opposing card’s HP
General Description: One of the more recent cards to have Manavita Shift, Merihim greatly utilizes the skill. Armed with Aroundight, he can potentially defeat opponent’s cards more easily if they have less MP than HP as it will deal damage to their swapped stats. With Divine Shield, he is able to survive an attack and therefore go on to possibly provide an additional kill with Aroundight. Overall, Merihim is a strong elemental caster as well as a powerful Poison attribute card.

Post Hi I was wondering how you're updating, like and how you're having them displayed in what order... like whenever new stuff comes out , it goes on top in your original post right? then .. you must remove some from that to keep from going over the character limit, and post it in a reply? so the ones not in the original post are not in chronological order right?

Yes, I'll add the entries for the latest cards to the top of the OP. Its the only one that will be in chronological order now. I thought about trying to keep all the posts in order, but decided it would be difficult to rearrange them all as I keep adding entries. Confused

Recommended Lv 70 Skill Set: Divine Shield, Gigant Smash, Revival
Recommended Types: Ace > Chaotic/Fast > Brave > Powerful/Cool > Sexy/Intelligent
Recommended Reborn Types: AceR > Bold/Sonic > Stalwart > Berserk/CoolR > Erotic/Wise
Pros: High HP and ATK, OHKOs every existing card, Synergy with Ishtar, Muse, and Sandwalker
Cons: No definite combo synergy, Susceptible to alteration abilities such as Sap, Gigant Smash and Revival are chance-based
General Description: The first Divine Shield user to learn Revival, Spenta Mainyu can be seen as an updated Mordred. Boasting all stats higher than him with the exception of MP, he is similarly armed with both Divine Shield and Gigant Smash and thus has a strong combination of offense and defense. Equipped with Revival instead of Impervious, he can hold slightly more offensive capability than Mordred as a successful Revival and Gigant Smash can easily defeat another card. He can be well followed by a Quick Strike or Nimble Jinx card for security in defeating a card in the event his Gigant Smash is blocked. Overall, Spenta Mainyu continues the skill precedent set by Mordred.

While I agree with this in general for Spenta Mainyu, I personally think that Sexy/Erotic is way better than what you've ranked.

SexyR/Erotic is the only non-acer type that can triple cast GS, which gives it a very decent chance to kill 2-3. Assuming it strikes first I've seen this happen often (in top 20 coli) using sexyR:

1. Mainyu GS kills opponent
2. Next card strikes, Mainyu DS absorbs attack
3. Mainyu GS kills card #2
4. Next card strikes, Mainyu dies
5. Mainyu revives
6. Mainyu GS kills card #3

Obviously this relies on procs (using Ares nullifies failure rate of GS, and works quite well), but it is quite realistic. I put sexyR after a bequeath card to boost his AGI and increase the chances of the above scenario happening.

While I think sonic is clearly the best non-ace type, I believe there is a very valid argument (based on personal experience) for sexyR/erotic to be a good type, on the order of Bold.

CoolR stats are generally given in the info pages for new cards in-game and others have made calculators that let you determine the other type's stats, so exact stats aren't exactly something I'll cover unfortunately. Confused

Thanks for the info! You've certainly made a valid argument! Smile I was unaware that SexyR and Erotic can triple cast as I generally only look at CoolR stats and calculate AceR stats. I had ranked them low as lowered HP without triple cast potential would not significantly benefit his performance. As with my enty for Eris, I have edited the types to be among the second best types as his potential to take out three cards as you mentioned is indeed significant! Big Grin

Perdition Keep

Satanail
Caster Type: Physical
Rebirth Combination(s): Satanail
Rebirth Skill: Deadly Reflex
Recommended Lv 60 Skill Set: Shadow Sap, Greater Protect, Lifeleech
Recommended Lv 70 Skill Set: Shadow Sap, Lifeleech, Deadly Reflex
Recommended Types: Ace > Chaotic/Fast > Brave/Cool/Powerful > Sexy/Intelligent
Recommended Reborn Types: AceR > Bold/Sonic > Stalwart/CoolR/Berserk > Erotic/Wise
Pros: Has Shadow Sap, High HP, ATK, and DEF, Synergy with Ishtar and Beelzebub
Cons: Susceptible to alteration skills such as Sap, No definite combo synergy, Shadow Sap does not work on Impervious users and does not stop Nerve Pinch
General Description: The second card after Minerva Arcanus to have the Shadow Sap skill, Satanail is particularly notable for not being part of a limited-time hunt. With its 100% proc rate, Shadow Sap will ensure he disables some of an opponent’s skills, survive scratch attacks, and potentially provide kills with Deadly Reflex. By being equipped with Lifeleech, any scratch damage he could take in the event that he Saps an opponent who gets the first attack would be insignificant as he will likely face the next opposing card with nearly full HP. As such, his Deadly Reflex is very likely to provide a kill due to his high HP. Overall, Satanail is particularly strong because of his rare Shadow Sap skill.

The Sweet War Limited-Time Valentine Hunt Event
Encounter Area: Perdition Keep

Valentine Zenobia
Attribute: Darkness
Caster Type: Physical
Rebirth Combination(s): Valentine Zenobia
Rebirth Skill: Toxic Blast
Recommended Lv 60 Skill Set: Impervious, Thousand Slashes, Revival
Recommended Lv 70 Skill Set: Impervious, Revival, Toxic Blast
Recommended Types: Ace > Chaotic/Fast > Brave > Powerful/Cool > Sexy/Intelligent
Recommended Reborn Types: AceR > Bold/Sonic > Stalwart > Berserk/CoolR > Erotic/Wise
Pros: High ATK, Unaffected by alteration skills, Synergy with Ishtar, Muse, and Beelzebub
Cons: No definite combo synergy, Revive and Toxic Blast are chance-based, Toxic Blast does not affect Impervious users
General Description: Greatly differing from her original counterpart, Valentine Zenobia has quite an interesting purpose. Given her skill set, she is meant to perform the Toxic Blast loop in order to procure kills with her scratch attacks. To aid that purpose, her Impervious and Revival skills grant her a greater chance to remain present in battle in order to possibly secure the loop. She can be advantageously buffed with Bequeath as it will increase her AGI, thereby increasing her chances of getting the first attack and potentially having Toxic Blast proc. Overall, Valentine Zenobia is a particularly interesting card due to being designed solely to procure the Toxic Blast loop.

Princess Somnus
Attribute: Darkness
Caster Type: Physical
Rebirth Combination(s): Princess Somnus
Rebirth Skill: Lifeleech
Recommended Lv 60 Skill Set: Quick Strike, Nightmare, Nerve Pinch
Recommended Lv 70 Skill Set: Quick Strike, Nerve Pinch, Lifeleech
Recommended Types: Ace > Chaotic/Fast > Powerful/Cool/Brave > Sexy/Intelligent
Recommended Reborn Types: AceR > Bold/Sonic > Berserk/CoolR/Stalwart > Erotic/Wise
Pros: High HP and ATK, Combos with Last Stand, Rendburst, Self-destruct, Crystalize, Soul Taker and Mind Crash, Synergy with Ishtar, Bahamut/Enfield and Beelzebub
Cons: Susceptible to alteration abilities such as Sap, Stalwart type cannot double cast
General Description: Having both Quick Strike and Nerve Pinch, Princess Somnus has a similar use to cards such as Hermes who also share those two skills. She can be used to reset combos as her Quick Strike allows her to end a combo chain while Nerve Pinch allows her to be followed with a card that can begin combos with one of their skills. For example, she be advantageously followed by Siegfried as he does not possess a first attack skill but possesses a post-defeat skill that can be used to start a combo. Overall, Princess Somnus is particularly well suited to be used in a combo chain.

Sisters of Fate Limited-Time Hunt
Encounter Area: Perdition Keep

Urd
Attribute: Earth
Caster Type: Physical
Rebirth Combination(s): Urd
Rebirth Skill: Rendburst
Recommended Lv 60 Skill Set: Quick Strike, Might, Blood Gambit
Recommended Lv 70 Skill Set: Quick Strike, Blood Gambit, Rendburst
Recommended Types: Ace > Chaotic/Fast > Powerful/Brave/Cool/Sexy > Intelligent
Recommended Reborn Types: AceR > Bold/Sonic > Berserk/Stalwart/CoolR/Erotic > Wise
Pros: High ATK and MP, Combos with Last Stand, Rendburst, Self-destruct, Quick Strike, Nimble Jinx, Crystalize, Soul Taker and Mind Crash, Synergy with Ishtar, Uriel and Ogrestone Castle
Cons: Susceptible to alteration skills such as Sap, Rendburst can be stopped by Reaper’s Luck, Banish, and Sap
General Description: Armed with a skill set that is not chance based, Urd is a strong physical attacker. As she is armed with both Quick Strike and Rendburst, she is well-suited to be used as a link in a combo chain. Also equipped with Blood Gambit, she requires only 300 MP for Quick Strike which leaves the rest of her high MP to maximize Rendburst damage. Overall, Urd is a prime example of a combo link card.

Verdandi
Attribute: Water
Caster Type: Elemental
Rebirth Combination(s): Verdandi
Rebirth Skill: Aroundight
Recommended Lv 60 Skill Set: Impervious, Maelstrom, Veil of Deadening
Recommended Lv 70 Skill Set: Impervious, Veil of Deadening, Aroundight
Recommended Types: Ace > Intelligent/Fast > Brave/Cool/Sexy > Powerful/Chaotic
Recommended Reborn Types: AceR > Wise/Sonic > Stalwart/CoolR/Erotic > Berserk/Bold
Pros: High WIS, Immune to alteration abilities, Synergy with Shiva/Puck and Engkanto
Cons: No definite combo synergy, Veil of Deadening is chance-based
General Description: The second card to learn Aroundight, Verdandi differs greatly from Shahar in use. Whereas Shahar has heightened offense with his skill set, Verdandi has heightened defense. Equipped with both Impervious and Veil of Deadening, she has immunity against alteration abilities and enhanced survivability against elemental attacks. Overall, Verdandi is well equipped to handle the influx of other strong elemental casters.

Clotho of Calamities
Attribute: Mecha
Caster Type: Elemental
Rebirth Combination(s):Clotho of Calamities
Rebirth Skill: Kiss of Death
Recommended Lv 60 Skill Set: Shadow Self-destruct, Phantom Gear, Deft Step
Recommended Lv 70 Skill Set: Shadow Self-destruct, Deft Step, Kiss of Death
Recommended Types: Ace > Intelligent/Fast/Sexy > Cool/Brave > Powerful/Chaotic
Recommended Reborn Types: AceR > Wise/Sonic/Erotic > CoolR/Stalwart > Berskerk/Bold
Pros: Has Shadow Self-destruct, High MP and WIS, Synergy with Shiva/Puck, Isis, and Phalaris, Combos with Quick Strike and Nimble Jinx, Able to triple cast
Cons: Susceptible to alteration skills such as Sap, Deft Step and Kiss of Death are chance-based
General Description: The first card to possess the Shadow Self-destruct skill, Clotho of Calamities can deal major damage to an opponent’s card upon defeat due to her high MP. In regard to deck placement, she is particularly well-suited to be placed in last position. With enhanced survivability in Deft Step, the ability to defeat any card with Death +4, and a Self-destruct with a 100% proc rate, she is a strong last resort card. Defeating an opponent’s last card with a Self-destruct skill results in a win for the user, thereby making her Shadow Self-destruct particularly useful for the last deck position.

Pros: Has Shadow Revival, High HP and ATK, Combos with Last Stand, Self-destruct, Rendburst, and Crystallize, Synergy with Ishtar, Uriel, Bahamut/Enfield and Engkanto
Cons: Low MP, Susceptible to alteration abilities such as Sap
General Description: The fourth card to learn the Shadow Revival skill, Vouivre is unique compared to the other users. In also having Quick Strike, she has combo synergy with other cards unlike the others and, as such, can be well placed as a combo ender. She can potentially finish off a weakened opponent with Quick Strike, defeat a second opponent with Blood Gambit, and then defeat a third opponent after using Shadow Revival. Of particular note, she is tied with Minotaur Commander in boasting the highest ATK over her contemporaries. Overall, Vouivre is another strong card due to having the Shadow Revival skill.

Under cons you have "Low MP"? Her Mp doesn't matter, BG uses Hp so.....Wink

I have that as a con since Manavita shift users can get around her high HP as well as make her beatable by a Quick Strike or Nimble Jinx attack. Her Shadow Revival does indeed help against them, but I think Manavita shift works very well against cards with low MP in general.

Thanks! Big Grin

By also being equipped with Blood Gambit, her high MP is reserved for dodging physical attacks to increase her survivability and for dealing high Rendburst damage. As such, she can be used as a combo starter as she can potentially defeat multiple opponents if she is able to dodge their attacks and then weaken an additional enemy. Overall, Fleurety is a particularly strong Rendburst user due to being the only one to have Deft Step.

She can potentially stop their +4 attack and post-defeat skill to the advantage of possibly disrupting certain combos. With Lifeleech, damage she takes from scratch attacks in the event she is unable to one-shot an opponent is insignificant. Overall, Konohana-sakuya is notable among Wind cards due to her skill set.

Also armed with Quick Strike, she can be well used as a combo ender to finish off a weakened opponent. With it, her survivability against other physical attackers is enhanced. Also equipped with Fount of Strength, the damage she inflicts with Lifeleech is greatly enhanced. Regarding deck placement, she would be well placed outside of combos as her skill set allows her to perform well individually.
