Such as when they say

Unlisted acers

And bid 10 4* acers?

(Noting that it DOESNT say "5*" acers!)

Yes, that's bad. Angry

I think most people consider it under-handed and in very poor form.

Of course, auctioneers should be careful in their wording, and have someone else double-check before posting, but still. Trading is so quiet these days, and so many people have already quit. Purposely ripping off auctioneers will deter them from holding future auctions, and may drive them to quit altogether. That is the last thing this forum needs!

Post Just an example

I don't gave nearly enough 4* acers ATM to even try

But it IS thier own fault!

Besides I'm looking for a LEGAL perspective as far as gcf RULES are concerned... Not opinions on friendliness

Yes, if not explicitly stated that it is 5* acer only, then 4* Acer are just as fine legally speaking. Place a bid before any change have been approved and made, and the change probably would not have been allowed.

In terms of friendliness, well nowadays mods tend to approve those changes and we also hope that everyone does not try to profit from a mistake by the auctioneer. (But if they manage to do before change has been approved, then auctioneer would have to learn from their mistake)

We don't judge on morale, if you want to exploit then you can. If you want to be nice then that is even better.

Post If I did take advantage it would be a reasonable amount that Would leave room for a reasonable bid serious bid (such as a current auction now has acers at 10 points, I would bid about 50-80 and that leaves MORE THEN enough room for a topper bid... It would be then be upto the community that's interested to not let auctioneer get low balled XP)

(50-80 points... Not acers XD)
