We tackle 4 star guardians today.

I break down guardians into three very simple categories:
Attacker - (Physical)
Caster - (Spell Flinger)
Hybrid - (Utility)

Furthermore I discuss a guardian's recommended skill set, the skills they attain and what levels they gain them at. Value is in the buyer, seller and the market demand. Its difficult to determine so I have taken out the value scale i was previously using with SS. However a guardian's value can be based on it's personality trait. Which ones that are most valuable to a particular guardian are determined by how they enhance or inhibit the guardian in terms of killing power, durability or other factors. Here is the graph i constructed for your easy viewing pleasure.

As you can tell from the table ACE will always be the best type but which is second best? Best types is determined by a guardian's skill set, buffs/debuffs and stats at max level. Element and ability to OHKO targets.

Finally all analysis on each guardian done by me is entirely personal opinion and based on helping players in Beginner's Coliseum and nothing more. So without further adieu enjoy.

Bernside Plains Guardians

Angel / Light Element / Primarily Caster
[Image: Angel2800x500_zps9657438e.jpg]
*Recommended Skill set: (Preference), Light+3, Def+20%*
*Types: ACE>Int>Fast>Brave>Cool>Chaotic>Sexy>Powerful*

Level 1 Shine Smite (Light +2)
Level 15 Heal (HP Recovery)
Level 30 Shine Burst (Light +3)
Level 40 Greater Heal (HP Recovery)
Level 50 Greater Protect (DEF +20%)

Angel is a good utility caster tanker. Best imho with a second +3 spell instead of greater heal cause usually angel will just continually heal itself if damaged first without getting a hit on a guardian, but i prefer heal over +2 light spell cause in some instances Angel can survive a hit, heal up and then deliver a KO with its Shine Burst.

Hectoncheir / Lightning Element / Attacker
[Image: hectoncheir800x500_zps3283df7f.jpg]
*Recommended Skill set: Atk+10%, Atk+20%, Phy+3*
*Types: ACE>Chaotic>Brave>Fast>Powerful>Cool>Int>Sexy*

Level 1 Might (ATK +10%)
Level 15 Cross Slash (Physical +2)
Level 30 Greater Might (ATK +20%)
Level 40 Hard Slash (Physical +3)
Level 50 Greater Protect (DEF +20%)

Hectoncheir is a attacker guardian, through and through, commonly referred to in mmo nomenclature as a nuker. this giant's sole purpose is to eliminate at least one target in an opponent's deck before kicking the bucket itself. Use behind a fast guardian for the speed boost.

Jormungandr / Earth Element / Hybrid -Primarily Attacker
[Image: jormungandr800x500_zpsba24bebe.jpg]
*Recommended Skill set: Atk+20%, Def+20%, Phy+3 or (Earth+3, Def+20%, Phy+3 for Int build)*
*Types: ACE>Chaotic>Powerful/Int/Fast>Brave>Cool>Sexy*

Level 1 Earth Spike (Earth +2)
Level 15 Greater Might (ATK +20%)
Level 30 Rock Bite (Earth +3)
Level 40 Greater Protect (DEF +20%)
Level 50 Double Impact (Physical +3)

Jormungandr is an interesting card because as an ACE it makes a solid physical attacker and decent beginner coliseum tank able to withstand some punishment before being eliminated. IF you are slightly mental or just flushed with +3 skills you can't sell you can give him his earth spell and another with spell and his def buff and watch him kafuddle opponents for the lawls.

Kraken / Water Element / Attacker
[Image: kracken800x500_zpsf6b53265.jpg]
*Recommended Skill set: Atk+20%, Def+20%, Phy+3*
*Types: Ace>Chaotic>Powerful>Brave>Fast>Cool>Sexy>Int*

Level 1 Aqua Shot (Water +2)
Level 15 Greater Might (ATK +20%)
Level 30 Heavy Blow (Physical +2)
Level 40 Greater Protect (DEF +20%)
Level 50 Double Impact (Physical +3)

Release the KRAKEN. Seriously though this guy is a water element streamlined version of Jorm. With two buffs and a singular purpose of attack what's not to love? Oh yeah.. its speed. big and slow but hits like a truck.

Pazuzu / Wind Element / Hybrid
[Image: pazuzu800x500_zpsf51fb466.jpg]
*Recommended Skill set: Phy+3, Atk-20%, Preference +3*
*Types: ACE>Chaotic>Brave>Fast>Powerful>Cool>Sexy>Int*

Level 1 Wind Edge (Wind +2)
Level 15 Explosion (Fire +3)
Level 30 Double Impact (Physical +3)
Level 40 Weakness (Enemy ATK -20%)
Level 50 Whirlwind (Wind +3)

I don't know what do do with this demon... It wants to be a caster with its pair of +3 spells but has a terrible wisdom score to be able to hit hard with it. It does slightly better with its phys att but is unable to KO many other common S rank beginner coli 4*s. Setup in front of a nuker card for his -att debuff imho. Choose your spells to preference.

Ramiel / Lightning Element / Caster
[Image: ramiel800x500_zpsea352375.jpg]
*Recommended Skill set: (Preference), Wis+20%, Lightning+3*
*Types: ACE>Int/Fast>Cool>Chaotic/Brave>Sexy>Powerful*

Level 1 Thunder Strike (Lightning +2)
Level 15 Greater Cunning (WIS +20%)
Level 30 Call Lightning (Lightning +3)
Level 40 Energy Drain (Absorb enemy MP)
Level 50 Greater Heal (HP Recovery)

Finally an actual Wizard's caster guardian. Ramiel has versatility and a solid wisdom score and can pack a punch with a decent MP score. His spells KO crit a number of common guardians you will see in S rank so he is worth bringing along. Just don't bother with the drain. Another guardian best served with an additional +3 spell if you have one to spare.

Vampire / Death Element / Attacker
[Image: vampire800x500_zpsc756fce9.jpg]
*Recommended Skill set: Atk+20%, Agi+20%, Phy+3*
*Types: ACE>Chaotic>Fast>Brave/Powerful>Int>Cool>Sexy*

Level 1 Life Drain (Absorb enemy HP)
Level 15 Greater Might (ATK +20%)
Level 30 Energy Drain (Absorb enemy MP)
Level 40 Greater Haste (AGI +20%)
Level 50 Hard Slash (Physical +3)

Lord of the night, Vampire the best 4* Berneside Plains has to offer. He's quick, hits hard and is an absolute beast on your beginners coli team. He's popular and fetches a higher price than other 4*s. So either have one yourself or have a counter guardian cause you will see alot of them.

Qiong-Ji / Wind Element / Attacker

*Recommended Skill set: Agi-20%, Agi+20%, Wind +2 (Phy+3)*
*Types: ACE>Fast>Chaotic>Brave/Powerful>Int>Cool>Sexy*

Level 1 Wind Cutter (Wind +1)
Level 15 Haste (AGI +10%)
Level 30 Wind Edge (Wind +2)
Level 40 Slow (Enemy AGI -20%)
Level 50 Greater Haste (AGI +20%)

Qiong-Ji is fast. Like the freaking Flash. Already gifted with some serious top end Porche speed this bastard comes with a pair of agility skills to manipulate the flow and course of any given match you put him in. the one caveat to this guy is that he comes with a measly wis score and a +2 wind attack so he will need a physical stone to make him worthwhile. But in my humble opinion he is.

Revenant / Death Element / Attacker

*Recommended Skill set: Darkness +2, Darkness +3, Phy+2*
*Types: ACE>Chaotic>Brave/Powerful>Fast>Int>Cool>Sexy*

Level 1 Darkness (Darkness +1)
Level 15 Hard Blow (Physical +1)
Level 30 Dark Pain (Darkness +2)
Level 40 Heavy Blow (Physical +2)
Level 50 Dark Psalm (Darkness +3)

Poor Revenant... who fucked it up? Seriously you give me a totally badass looking guardian.. with a fucking sword in his chest. How awesome is that. Also give him a titantic health pool and base attack power...and shitty stats else where, no buffs and terrible skills. Who fucking seizurgasmed when they were at the keyboard creating this?

Glaverow Volcano Guardians

Dullahan / Death Element / Attacker
[Image: dullahan800x500_zps350a3c0d.jpg]
*Recommended Skill Set: AGI+20%, Atk+20%, Phy+3*
Types: ACE>Pow/Fast>Chaotic>Cool>Brave/Sexy>Int

Level 1 Cross Slash (Physical +2)
Level 15 Greater Protect (DEF +20%)
Level 30 Greater Haste (AGI +20%)
Level 40 Greater Might (ATK +20%)
Level 50 Hard Slash (Physical +3)

Dullahan the Headless Horseman of Death is here to slay all mwahahaha. A slightly lesser version of Vampire but a great beginner coli team addition nonetheless. He will be a greatly valued attacker.

Fenrir / Darkness Element / Attacker
[Image: fenrir800x500_zps38dc6c07.jpg]
*Recommended Skill Set: Phy+3, Atk+20%, (Preference)*
Types: ACE>Pow/Chaotic>Fast>Brave>Cool>Sexy/Int

Level 1 Heavy Blow (Physical +2)
Level 15 Greater Haste (AGI +20%)
Level 30 Double Impact (Physical +3)
Level 40 Greater Might (ATK +20%)
Level 50 Lower Defense (Enemy DEF -20%)

Fenrir just happens to be the only darkness element 4* in the game so far. But with the massive amount of darkness 5*s around that hardly seems to matter. He does come with an exact skill set of Vampire and while doesn't match him in stats is still a strong guardian. But in my opinion SE shorted him on his badass potential considering his long time standing lore...

Garuda / Wind Element / Attacker / Anti-Caster
[Image: garuda800x500_zps69bea643.jpg]
*Recommended Skill Set: Agi+20%, Phy+3, Wis-20%*
Types: ACE>Fast>Chaotic/Powerful/Cool>Brave>:Int

Level 1 Wind Edge (Wind +2)
Level 15 Heavy Blow (Physical +2)
Level 30 Greater Haste (AGI +20%)
Level 40 Double Impact (Physical +3)
Level 50 Mind Blast (Enemy WIS -20%)

Garuda is an underrated 4* guardian, it has excellent stats for beginner's coliseum and a buff to enhance its one great attribute and a debuff to its primary weakness. IF Speed is the essence of war then Garuda is a frontliner.

Giant / Earth Element / Attacker
[Image: Giant800x500_zpscc157516.jpg]
*Recommended Skill Set: Phy+3, Atk+20%, (Preference)*
Types: Chaos/Pow>Brave>Cool>Fast>Sexy/Int

Level 1 Heavy Blow (Physical +2)
Level 15 Greater Might (ATK +20%)
Level 30 Lower Defense (Enemy DEF -20%)
Level 40 Greater Protect (DEF +20%)
Level 50 Double Impact (Physical +3)

Much like several of the GV guardians Giant comes with a set of buffs and a singular attack for defeating other guardians but can also be made to serve more utility by giving him his debuff. Its a preference, im personally more for enhancing one's own guardian verses debuffing the enemy. Another bonus with Giant is his huge underrated value. With Golem right next to him fetching enormous prices he can be many up and comer players first cheap Ace purchase and still contributes well when placed correctly in a line up.

Golem / Earth Element / Attacker
[Image: golem800x500_zps51932d3e.jpg]
*Recommended Skill Sets: Atk+10%, Phy+3, Atk+20%*
Types: ACE>Chaotic>Fast/Powerful/Brave/Cool>Int>Sexy

Level 1 Heavy Blow (Physical +2)
Level 15 Might (ATK +10%)
Level 30 Double Impact (Physical +3)
Level 40 Greater Protect (DEF +20%)
Level 50 Greater Might (ATK +20%)

This is Golem, he is the Chuck Norris of 4*s, if he were Brad Pitt the movie would be called Golem Club and he would lead you to S+ in beginner's coliseum every fucking week. I've seen some take his defensive buff over his +10% att which would make him more durable. Still I prefer offense to defense imho. I let mine eat a few agility stones just to jack his speed potential. Also be aware many are loading their teams up with darkness attacks which there is no shortage of right now. So dont be surprised when your mighty Golem gets wrecked often.

Medusa / Poison Element / Caster
[Image: medusa800x500_zps13871059.jpg]
*Recommended Skill Set: Agi-20%, Poison+3, Phy+3*
Types: ACE>Fast>Int>Cool>Pow>Brave/Chaotic>Sexy

Level 1 Poison Mist (Poison +2)
Level 15 Heavy Blow (Physical +2)
Level 30 Slow (Enemy AGI -20%)
Level 40 Poison Field (Poison +3)
Level 50 Double Impact (Physical +3)

Medusa you sweet sexy bitch.. they gave you solid attacks, a notable debuff and decent stats with a fairly rare poison element attack to go against all of the earth element attackers found in coliseum nowadays. If she had more punching power you would see her in more teams...

Pabilsag / Poison Element / Attacker-Caster Hybrid
[Image: pabilsag800x500_zpse79114db.jpg]
*Attacker Build Recommended Skill Set: Wis20%, Def+20%, Phy+3*
*Types: ACE>Pow/Chaotic>Cool/Fast/Brave>Int>Sexy*

*Caster Build Recommended Skill Set: Wis20%, Def20%, Elm. Skill+3 Stone* (Wis build needs an Elemental Skill stone)
*Types: ACE>Int>Chao/Fast>Cool>Sexy>Brave>Pow*

Level 1 Poison Mist (Poison +2)
Level 15 Greater Cunning (WIS +20%)
Level 30 Cross Slash (Physical +2)
Level 40 Greater Protect (DEF +20%)
Level 50 Hard Slash (Physical +3)

Pabilsag is an enigma to the average gamer. With a little elbow grease this guy can be a powerful caster but the majority you will face in combat are lousy physical attackers. Pabilsag will turn off alot of players because of the need to have a elemental skill stone to be effective as well as its low health even for ace or chaotic. Point is if you wanna shock a player in Beginner's coli then Pabilsag is your man..er.. demon Wink

Wyvern / Wind Element /Caster
[Image: wyvern800x500_zpsd0c61a6e.jpg]
*Recommended Skill Set: Poison+2, Wind+3, Agi+20%*
Types: ACE>Fast/Int>Brave>Chaotic>Cool>Sexy>Pow

Level 1 Wind Edge (Wind +2)
Level 15 Poison Mist (Poison +2)
Level 30 Heavy Blow (Physical +2)
Level 40 Whirlwind (Wind +3)
Level 50 Greater Haste (AGI +20%)

Wyvern another guardian from GV that is normally undervalued, with some wisdom stoning is quite capable of taking out alot of common earth guardians found in almost every deck. He's fast too and can often get in the first hit before calling it a day.

Brigid / Fire Element / Caster

*Recommended Skill Set: Fire +2, Fire+3, Wis+20%*
Types: ACE>Fast/Int>Cool>Brave>Chaotic>Pow>Sexy

Level 1 Burning Strike (Fire +2)
Level 15 Heal (HP Recovery)
Level 30 Explosion (Fire +3)
Level 40 Greater Heal (HP Recovery)
Level 50 Greater Cunning (WIS +20%)

You know what my favorite part of Brigid is? the boobs of course. LOL. Ok enough of that.. seriously though she can kick some ***** best part is she is like Angel but with the right buff without needing reborn. silimar to Giant vs Golem she can be a hot budget by right now because of the clamoring over Caim. Skilled properly this Hot Sorceress can KO damn near anything with just a pair of cheap +3 skills.

Caim / Fire Element / Caster

*Recommended Skill Set: WIS +20%, Fire+2, WIS -20%*
Types: ACE>Fast/Int>Cool>Brave>Chaotic>Pow>Sexy*

Level 1 Cross Slash (Physical +2)
Level 15 Greater Cunning (WIS +20%)
Level 30 Burning Strike (Fire +2)
Level 40 Life Drain (Absorb enemy HP)
Level 50 Mind Blast (Enemy WIS -20%)

So when I saw Caim for the first time and started reading up on his potential I kept thinking to myself, "How do you compare a guardian so badass he can wipe anyone out with a single spell" Is he Vader, Diablo, Sargeras, Merlin and Gandalf all rolled into one? No no.. that doesn't do him enough justice. He is like the Leader of Scientology. With one phone call he obliterates your career, livelihood and family. He will need a couple of MP stones and +4 elem skill or you can budget him. Either way step back and watch him Bruce Lee the 4* line up that faces you.

Storm Reach Snowfield Guardians

Fafnir / Fire Element / Attacker
[Image: fafnir800x500_zps4efefabf.jpg]
*Recommended Skill Set: DEF -20%, ATK -20%, Physical +3*
Types: ACE>Fast/Pow>Chaotic/Brave/Cool>Int>Sexy*

Level 1 Cross Slash (Physical +2)
Level 15 Lower Defense (Enemy DEF -20%)
Level 30 Protect (DEF +10%)
Level 40 Weakness (Enemy ATK -20%)
Level 50 Hard Slash (Physical +3)

I hope i get a real dragon in the future but for now i have this great debuffer. Fafnir has decent attack to go with his phys skill but his utility is greatly increased with his ability to neutralize a particularly dangerous card and hopefully not get KO'd with his decent HP pool.

Jotunn / Water Element / Attacker
[Image: jotunn800x500_zps6ba13c3d.jpg]
*Recommended Skill Set: AGI -20%, Water +3, Physical +3*
*Types: ACE>Chaotic>Pow/Fast>Brave>Cool/Int>Sexy*

Level 1 Aqua Shot (Water +2)
Level 15 Heavy Blow (Physical +2)
Level 30 Slow (Enemy AGI -20%)
Level 40 Aqua Burst (Water +3)
Level 50 Hard Slash (Physical +3)

I got nothing against Jotunn, he like old school Sub Zero from the 90s, he slows you down and then has two ways to defeat you. He has enough health and defense to take a hit before kicking the bucket and has a worthy spot on any beginner team.

Power / Light Element / Hybrid Attacker
[Image: Power800x500_zps2fa8358b.jpg]
*Recommended Skill Set: Light +3, Darkness +3, Physical +3*
Types: ACE>Pow>Fast>Cool>Int/Brave/Chaotic>Sexy

Level 1 Shine Smite (Light +2)
Level 15 Cross Slash (Physical +2)
Level 30 Shine Burst (Light +3)
Level 40 Dark Psalm (Darkness +3)
Level 50 Hard Slash (Physical +3)

Power, love him. So this guardian is set to go toe to toe with just about any other 4* in the game. Widely recognized as the sephirothian art piece ingame currently. He has three good attacks to combine with some serious stats that make him just plain dangerous. Still he isnt the fastest and his wisdom lags behind making his two element attacks not particular the best. Some coli stones later though and he is a solid addition to the middle of your line up. Either he's going down swinging or you are.

Specter / Death Element / Caster
[Image: specter800x500_zpse8b7ef90.jpg]
*Recommended Skill Set: Water +3, Darkness +3, (Preference)*
*Types: ACE>Int>Fast>Cool>Brave>Chaotic/Power/Sexy*

Level 1 Dark Pain (Darkness +2)
Level 15 Aqua Shot (Water +2)
Level 30 Energy Drain (Absorb enemy MP)
Level 40 Dark Psalm (Darkness +3)
Level 50 Aqua Burst (Water +3)

This little death incarnation of Carrie is a triple caster when served with an additional +3 skill to cover a variety of guardians for elem critical KOs. She pretty much has enough speed and endurance to get off a single spell in most matches but sometimes she'll double cast and be a surprise Wtf to most power based beef teams found in Beginner's coli. However with no buffs whatsoever she will need some stoning to be most effective and there are better caster guardians out there already

Talos / Mecha Guardian / Attacker
[Image: talos800x500_zps10fe1235.jpg]
*Recommended Skill Set: DEF +20%, Physical +3, Fire +3*
*Types: ACE>Chaotic>Pow>Fast>Brave>Cool>Int>Sexy*

Level 1 Cross Slash (Physical +2)
Level 15 Burning Strike (Fire +2)
Level 30 Greater Protect (DEF +20%)
Level 40 Hard Slash (Physical +3)
Level 50 Explosion (Fire +3)

This Tank is yes a beast and will take a punch and deliver a counter to virtually all who stand in his way. If you need a stop gap on your team this is your machine to do the job. Fire elem attack, while not very powerful will crit alot of guardians regularly seen in Beginner's Coli. His true potential comes out when he gets his attack buff with rebirth.

Glaverow Volcano Spirit Guardians
(Found from defeating the Big Shadow)

Byakko / Mecha Element / Attacker
[Image: byakko800x500_zpsbf26edf3.jpg]
*Recommended Skill Set: Atk+20%, Phy+3,(Def+20% or Agi+20%)
Types: ACE>Pow/Fast>Chaotic>Cool>Brave>Sexy/Int

Level 1 Greater Protect (DEF +20%)
Level 15 Heavy Blow (Physical +2)
Level 30 Double Impact (Physical +3)
Level 40 Greater Might (ATK +20%)
Level 50 Greater Haste (AGI +20%)

Byakko the mecha tiger makes an additional companion to the power group of beginner's coli guardians. His versatility is in his buffs making him highly customizable to whatever fits your team. As an Ace he is certainly a top physical performer for any S+ rank team.

Genbu / Water Element / Hybrid
[Image: genbu800x500_zps3929f37b.jpg]
*Recommended Skill Set: (Def+20%, Phy+3, Atk+20%) or (Elem Stone, Def+20%, WIS +20%)*
*Types: ACE>Chaotic>Fast>Cool>Pow/Brave/Int>Sexy*

Level 1 Heavy Blow (Physical +2)
Level 15 Greater Protect (DEF +20%)
Level 30 Greater Cunning (WIS +20%)
Level 40 Double Impact (Physical +3)
Level 50 Greater Might (ATK +20%)

Genbu is another guardian where it is provided with physical skills but a weak attack power, a high wisdom and no elemental attack to utilize. Served with a decent element attack stone and the proper buffs it functions like a better Pabilsag with an appropriate health pool to keep it going in a fight.

Seiryu / Lightning Element / Hybrid
[Image: seiryu800x500_zps540127b2.jpg]
*Recommended Skill Set: Def+20%, Greater Heal, Phy+3*
*Types: ACE>Fast/Chaotic>Pow>Brave>Cool>Sexy/Int

Level 1 Heavy Blow (Physical +2)
Level 15 Greater Protect (DEF +20%)
Level 30 Thunder Strike (Lightning +2)
Level 40 Greater Heal (HP Recovery)
Level 50 Double Impact (Physical +3)

Seiryu especially as an ACE makes a pretty good tank in beginner's coli out of the spirit beasts this one actually has stats to match its skill setup. Lots of versatility and guile to be used at your disposal. He wont OHKO many.. but does he really need to?

Suzaku / Fire Element / Hybrid
[Image: suzaku800x500_zpsd384c8bf.jpg]
*Recommended Skill Set: Phy+3, Fire+3, Atk+20%*
*Types: ACE>Fast/Int>Chaotic>Pow>Cool>Brave>Sexy*

Level 1 Burning Strike (Fire +2)
Level 15 Heavy Blow (Physical +2)
Level 30 Double Impact (Physical +3)
Level 40 Explosion (Fire +3)
Level 50 Greater Might (ATK +20%)

Suzaku gets two +3 attacks one elem and one physical to go with its handy buff. Capable of elem critical on many popular beginner's coli guardians and fast as hell, if you dont have a speedy 5* to lead your deck off you will want this bird. With Rebirth this guy realizes his true potential as a speedy caster.

Invitation Bonus Guardians

Cerberus / Fire Guardian / Hybrid
[Image: cerberus800x500_zps4ecfd73f.jpg]
*Recommended Skill Set: Fire +3, DEF +20%, AGI +20%*
*Types: Cool Motherfucker ha*

Level 1 Burning Strike (Fire +2)
Level 15 Protect (DEF +10%)
Level 30 Explosion (Fire +3)
Level 40 Greater Protect (DEF +20%)
Level 50 Greater Haste (AGI +20%)

Cerberus is your award for gaining ten invitees to join Guardian Cross. He is a decent 4* guardian, of uncommon type and possesses a fire attack which many common beginner's coliseum guardians will die to. He is not particularly tough or badass. Use if you wish, just make sure to have a leash handy Wink

Coming soon the three new lovely ladies from the 2nd invitation event.

Lastly a quick rankings list for all current 4* guardians in the game. Rankings here are in my personal opinion.

1st- Caim, Golem, Vampire, Brigid, Atar, Narasimha, Byakko, Hecatoncheir, Dullahan, Horus, Genbu, Pabilsag, Power, Rudra, Qiong-Ji, Aym, Kraken, Jormungandr, Giant, Taowu, Jotunn, Angel, Suzaku, Talos, Garuda, Fenrir, Medusa, Wyvern, Fafnir, Barong, Pazuzu, Ramiel, Revenant, Seiryu, Specter, Cerberus, Gold Slime.

All of this is due to the following wonderful websites and the dedicated players behind them.

Deadmoon Desert Guardians
Atar
[Image: SC20131125-210232_zps825c4626.jpg]
*Recommended Skill set: (ATK +20%), (Phys+3), (Quick Strike)*
*Types: ACE>Chaotic/Fast>Powerful/Brave/Cool>Int>Sexy*

Level 1 Burning Strike (Fire +2)
Level 15 Heal (HP Recovery)
Level 30 Greater Might (ATK +20%)
Level 40 Quick Strike (First attack)
Level 50 Explosion (Fire +3)

Atar is a stud, no doubt about it. Strong in both Def and Wisdom with a decent health pool for good durability which puts him above a straight glass cannon nuker like Hectoncheir, he gives up some punching power and his agi is pretty decent so he has a strong chance to attack first after quick strike which is the best quick strike available for 4*s in the game atm. However he will need a +3 phys stone, without one he is middle of the road with fire elem guardian 4* heavy decks but with it he can one shot every 4*. Put him behind a tank and watch him kick *****.

Aym
[Image: SC20131125-210241_zps11c6ec56.jpg]
*Recommended Skill set: (ATK +20%), (Phys+2), (ATK +10% or Self-destruct)*
*Types: ACE>Fast/Powerful>Cool>>Sexy/Brave/Chaotic/Int*

Level 1 Burning Strike (Fire +2)
Level 15 Heavy Blow (Physical +2)
Level 30 Might (ATK +10%)
Level 40 Greater Might (ATK +20%)
Level 50 Self-destruct (Damage on death)

Aym is another solid addition to the 4* line ups. Self-destruct is an interesting skill choice for him as well cause of his lower than atar's defenses and health he can certainly get KO'd easily, SD however will insure you always get something out of him even if he is sexy type. He hits hard and harder if you give him a +3 phys stone which he will need in better line ups to keep up with the crowd of 4*s. He can get along quite well without SD and taking the second buff but that really kinda just turns him into Hectoncheir...

Barong
[Image: SC20131125-210159_zps3361dd3f.jpg]
*Recommended Skill set: (DEF +20%), (WIS +20%), (Light +3)*
*Types: ACE>Fast/Int>Brave>Chaotic/Cool>Powerful>Sexy*

Level 1 Shine Smite (Light +2)
Level 15 Heavy Blow (Physical +2)
Level 30 Greater Protect (DEF +20%)
Level 40 Greater Cunning (WIS +20%)
Level 50 Shine Burst (Light +3)

Umph... So this guy even as an Ace can be easily past over.. even in rebirth one day when you can give him a phys stone and +20 att he will still be interchangeable for Jorm or Kraken who will forever be cheap as shit. His wis is too low and so is his other key stats. Sure looks pretty cool though.

Horus
[Image: SC20131125-210153_zpsf83d7938.jpg]
*Recommended Skill set: (Quick Strike), (WIS +20%), (Light +3)*
*Types: ACE>Fast/Int>Brave>Chaotic/Cool>Powerful>Sexy*

Level 1 Cross Slash (Physical +2)
Level 15 Quick Strike (First attack)
Level 30 Shine Smite (Light +2)
Level 40 Greater Cunning (WIS +20%)
Level 50 Shine Burst (Light +3)

I like Horus, he has caster stats where they fucking need to be and in abundance with proper buff, he has Quick Strike which with his terrible att power will soften up whatever enemies he cant outright kill with his spells. He also has a solid defense that with an upped health pool can take a punch. He is a great upgrade from Angel and competitive against other great casters recently added to the game.

Narasimha
[Image: SC20131125-210206_zps9f329b94.jpg]
*Recommended Skill set: (ATK +10%), (ATK +20%), (Physical +3)*
*Types: ACE>Fast/Chaotic>Powerful>Brave/Cool>Sexy/Int*

Level 1 Might (ATK +10%)
Level 15 Thunder Strike (Lightning +2)
Level 30 Hard Slash (Physical +3)
Level 40 Greater Might (ATK +20%)
Level 50 Call Lightning (Lightning +3)

Well were you asking for Hectoncheir 2.0? Wolverine? Or the pixilated madman from shining force and a personal favorite Zylo? Well you fucking got him. Nara is even more glass and even more cannon than the previous nuker king of 4*s. He is here to decimate your face so give him the best chance to get off and set him up in the middle of the deck or behind someone with last stand or really fast to get the most out of him.

Rudra
[Image: SC20131125-210226_zpsbafc4f2c.jpg]
*Recommended Skill set: (AGI +10%), (AGI +20%), (Wind +3)*
*Types: ACE>Fast/Int>Chaotic>Brave>Cool>Powerful>Sexy*

Level 1 Wind Edge (Wind +2)
Level 15 Haste (AGI +10%)
Level 30 Heal (HP Recovery)
Level 40 Whirlwind (Wind +3)
Level 50 Greater Haste (AGI +20%)

In case you were wondering how fast a bitch can ruin your day.. look no further than Rudra. Again other desert guardian with stats where they need to be. He fulfills the elemental caster equivalent to the birdman Qiong-Ji from Berneside. If you dont have a fast lead off guardian i suggest using him and give him a good water attack to take out all the phoenix and alike people seem to LOVE to lead off with. Or put him in the middle of the line up and see if he can take a few out. Give him some MP stones and a +4 spell and he will bring the pain.

Taowu
[Image: SC20131125-210213_zpsf7dadc7b.jpg]
*Recommended Skill set: (ATK +10%), (ATK +20%), (Physical +3)*
*Types: ACE>Chaotic>Powerful>Brave/Cool/Fast>Sexy/Int*

Level 1 Poison Bubble (Poison +1)
Level 15 Protect (DEF +10%)
Level 30 Greater Protect (DEF +20%)
Level 40 Poison Mist (Poison +2)
Level 50 Last Stand (Endures one attack)

Finally a poison guardian again... ooo and he's beastly Big Grin He has a big health pool and defense for days for a 4* but so slow and can't kill anything.. Last stand allows him some breathing room in a fight but remember what is the point of last stand if he is easily one shot, uses all of his mp and then hits a guardians for 800 pts of normal damage only to die again... I dont like him for my deck but i do like his cover art. Pass until rebirth.

this space is saved for the upcoming cerulean deep guardians.

Also please feel free to critique each guardian add advice which i will implement for edit. this time around with the guide i was able to separate each section properly so i could actually edit them which wasnt possible last time due to the amount of pictures i had and this site's reply merging into a single post.

As thor would say HAVE at thee opinions wastrells Exclamation

Post You guys and gals are more than welcome to comment on this guide now. Best part is any suggestions you guys have I can finally edit in. Big Grin So much better now.

You know i was going to try and implement a version of my guides on the "lightside" forums over on GCF but they don't have much in the way of html for their forums and it looks like a hot mess to me. Sad
